Common problems
These are the issues we see most often on the 308. Whatever the symptom, we diagnose first and explain the fix before any work starts.

01The 1.2 PureTech uses a timing belt that runs in oil. It needs inspecting and replacing at the right interval, because a degraded belt can shed debris into the oil and trigger low oil-pressure warnings.
02BlueHDi diesels use AdBlue. Warnings such as a countdown to 'starting impossible' usually point to the AdBlue pump, heater, sensor or NOx sensor, all of which we diagnose and fix.
03Shift quality problems on EAT6 and EAT8 automatics can often be improved with correct fluid service, adaptations and diagnosis.
04Rough running or loss of power on direct-injection petrol engines can come from intake carbon deposits or a weak high-pressure fuel pump.
05Message us your 308's year and what's going on, plus a photo or video if you can. We'll tell you what to expect before you come in. Open 8:30 AM – 6 PM, every day except Thursday.
